Combo amps are the best band for your buck. A combo amp has a speaker/speakers and the electronics to amplify your sound, it’s an all-in-one deal. You can spend more on separate amp “heads” and “cabinets” but you only need those if you are headed into a professional music situation like playing to 500,000 people and want to look flashy.
