Who We Serve
The people we serve are called Music Makers.
A Music Maker is a passionate lover of music anywhere on their music journey.
Even if you are just thinking about making music, you have already started your music journey! Maybe you have been playing or singing for years. Either way, you are a Music Maker.
A Music Maker does not judge themselves or others.
Music is art. Art is subjective. Subjective means that you and I could hear the same piece of music and have different opinions about that music. Neither one of us is right or wrong. We just have different opinions.
Because music is subjective, we say “I like it,” “I don’t like it” or “this music makes me feel______.” Go past “good” and “bad” and use more than a few words to explain your feelings.
Music Makers do not judge themselves or others on their proficiency. Music Makers are “more” or “less” proficient than what they need to reach their Dream Music Goal. Music Makers ask “have I reached my Dream Music Goal?” and if the answer is no, “what am I going to do about that?”
A Music Maker is in it for the love of making music, pursuing excellence, not perfection.
Perfection is a trap. Perfection does not exist. Excellence is the very best you can do, when you have given 100% of yourself to the task. We pursue excellence in all aspects of music.
A Music Maker loves the goal as much as they love the journey. We celebrate growth.
We record, save, and celebrate progress and wins when we reach our goals.
A Music Maker shares the joy, expression, and emotion of making music with themselves and others.
